I bring quite a unique and versatile skillset to clients, whether they’re looking for a RP English voice artist who can sing, or an authentic Scandinavian to embody a particular character. In addition to my Norwegian roots, I speak another 5 languages and can move freely between them.
In addition, I have unlimited right to work in the UK and can be available in-person should you prefer this to remote work only. -
Both! I have access to a professional studio and sound engineer to deliver the highest standard and am also available to attend projects in person

My mother tongue is Norwegian, with a Sandnes dialect. I went to a Scandinavian School abroad when growing up, so I also picked up Swedish, Danish and a little Icelandic!
I have a degree in Modern Languages and lived in Belgium, France and Russia. I have also studied German and Italian (though these are at a basic conversational level, rather than professional level). -
Pretty much all genres (except black metal as my growling skills are not up to speed)!
With a name like Solveig, I was destined to be into classical singing (among many others!) and studied both classical singing and gospel at Oslo Folkehøgskule. I have also been trained classically by Alexander Johnson whilst at University and performed in Norway, Belgium, Russia, France, US and UK.I also have a background in Scandinavian folktunes and lokk (quite similar to Helene Bøksel and bands like Gåte) which resemble songs used in games and films. This is the genre that taps into my roots and makes me feel very connected to my home country.
Whilst studying at University, I was a part of the Musical Theatre Society and was lucky to be given several leading female roles. I also entered and won a national singing competition in Norway which I won with my version of the pop song “No Milk Today” by Herman’s Hermits.
In addition to this, I can also sing:
- Jazz/Blues
- Children’s nursery rhymes
- Indie
- Country
to name a few! -
